Whether you are just trying to make your stock truck run better or free up much-needed flow with an upgraded truck this is the upgrade for you. If you live in a VERY cold climate it can affect starting. We have tested this all the way down to 32 degrees F and noticed NO difference in starting quality on a 2017 3500. If you live in a sub-zero climate you may experience rougher cold starts, this is a trade-off for higher flow. Some we have heard remove the plate in the wintertime to aid in starting.
