THESE PARTS ARE NEW AND ARE UL CERTIFIED. THE VAPORIZER / REGULATOR IS A IMPCO N-J LPG LIQUID WITHDRAWAL HIGH PRESURE REGULATOR, RATED FOR UP TO 100 HORSEPOWER. IT ALSO HAS A SILICONE DIAPHRAM, NOT THE CARDBOARD STYLE LIKE OTHER VAPORIZERS USE. LIQUID OR VAPOR PROPANE ENTERS THE REGULATOR AND THEN IS VAPORIZED. THE TANK PRESSURE IS REDUCED TO APPROX. 1.5 PSI. AS A NEGATIVE PRESSURE VACCUM IS TRANSMITTED FROM THE ENGINES INTAKE, THE REGULATOR RELEASES PROPANE VAPOR INTO THE ENGINES INTAKE. THIS IS A NEGATIVE PRESSURE REGULATOR. THERE IS NO WAY FOR PROPANE TO BE RELEASED UNLESS THE ENGINE IS RUNNING. OTHER SYSTEMS OUT THERE USE A POSITVE PRESURE REGULATOR, WHICH IS’NT AS SAFE BECAUSE IF THE REGULATOR OR SOLENOID FAILS, IT COULD RELEASE PROPANE INTO THE ENGINE, EVEN IF THE ENGINE IS’NT RUNNING. THIS SYSTEM IS REGULATED BY AIRFLOW. THE MORE AIR FLOWING THROUGH THE INTAKE, THE MORE PROPANE IS RELEASED. IT IS A PERFECT MIXTURE OF AIR AND PROPANE AT ALL RPM’S. THIS PREVENTS OVER FUELING. ALSO, OUR SYSTEM CAN BE USED ON SEMI TRUCKS , PULLING TRACTORS, FARM TRACTORS, BUSSES, RV’S, ETC. THERE IS A SEPERATE AUCTION FOR THOSE APPLICATIONS.
