1973 Dynaco Stereo 400 Power Amplifier Made in Philadelphia, USA I purchased this amp over 20 years ago and never did anything with it. This power amplifier is the Dynaco Stereo 400. There is 200W per channel in stereo and 600W in mono. It is the higher-end and more desirable metered version with glowing blue lights. The fan was also upgraded to Dynaco’s FAN-1 Whisper Fan for low-noise operation by the factory. When opening up the metal component cover, we looked for a pot to date this amp. We found the Channel A level pot # 1377320 showing it’s a 1973. We see that the bottom right knob turns freely; we are not sure why.We have not tested this amplifier and we are selling as is for parts or restoration.
